Nick makes even tough fishing fun and enjoyable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the current bite and what the fish are doing that exact day. He is extremely accommodating and very passionate about fishing. I have booked with him several times and have never went home empty handed. My 7 year old was even able to catch a 15+ lb king!  5/5 stars I am still a client to this day and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends to him as well.

We had several family members come up from California, and Nick brought us all out for Fall Salmon. Several of us had never fished for salmon before. Nick is very knowledgeable and fully outfitted. He was patient with all us novices and explained the what's and whys. We all had a great time and caught our limit. I highly recommend Nick if you need a guide on the Columbia. (By the way, Nick... James, Derek and I would be interested in getting seats for spring salmon when it opens, and you have availability. Just let me know what your rates are). Thanks again for such a great time.

Nick recently took a group of us on a multi-day fishing adventure. It was an incredible experience filled with an abundance of fish being caught. Nick’s knowledge, kindness, and patience were evident throughout the trip. Most of us were novices, and he patiently guided us through every step, ensuring we successfully reeled in every fish caught. His excitement was evident as he watched others reel in their catches, showing his genuine passion for fishing. Never once was he frustrated or flustered. After we returned to shore, Nick cleaned and filleted our fish for us. I was eager to get my hands dirty and learn the process. He patiently guided me through it, despite how tired he must have felt from the trip and likely wanting to get home. His willingness to share his expertise was truly remarkable and appreciated in making my experience that much more memorable. It was an amazing feeling to come home and cook fish that I had caught, cleaned, and filleted myself. We spent three days on the trip, swapping people in/out as they reached their catch limits. It was an excellent trip for all of us. We can not stop talking about how amazing Nick was and how amazing this trip was. I can’t express my gratitude enough to Nick for making this trip so memorable for our family. We can not wait for our next one! Without hesitation, I would hire Nick again as a fishing guide. I would highly recommend Nick as your fishing guide!  He is so knowledgeable and patient and fun! I had the opportunity to be a part of a family fishing trip last fall where Nick was the guide. I was amazed at how patient he was for all of us novices and very inexperienced fisher people! He never got riled when we didn’t know what we were doing, when our lines would tangle, when we - or I should say I couldn’t real my fish in! As excited as we all were when we had a fish on, I think he was even more excited for us and loved to share in our fun and enthusiasm.  It was obvious that being a guide is so much more than a job to him!!!  He truly loves it and wants others to experience the joy of fishing as he does!   His heart is completely in it!
